Most damage to a property during severe weather occurs when trees or branches fall. High winds and saturated soil conditions typical of summer storms can cause tree roots to fail and branches to weaken. During winter, the weight of ice and snow accumulation can be equally damaging, resulting in failure of branches and entire trees.
In many cases, hazards are not always obvious to the untrained eye, and correcting them can be a dangerous job. While it is impossible to totally protect your trees and property from severe storms, a certified arborist can inspect for issues that could predispose trees to failure in the future. This could include a climbing inspection, or an analysis to detect whether decay is present in the branches, stems, or roots.
We are happy to help your property recover from storm damage, and to help avoid hazards in the future.
